Is it possible to delete my first post? <heavy sigh...> I was very impulsive to start my blog as I did. I love "caput mundi" because it is often said of Roma ~ the capital of the world. However, on viewing other blogs, I see there is a very prominent Caput Mundi blog referring to the Vatican/Saints/Catholicism and.... an endorsement of Newt Gingrich? That is certainly not who I am. *Perhaps some changes to my blog will be forthcoming.


The big news is ~ it's finally snowing in the Sierra!!! It's absolutely gorgeous ~ light and fluffy ~ covering even the smallest branch with its magic crystals.

The snow will keep me in today to further plan my Spring Roma Adventure. Research is half of the fun. It's easy to loose a day on the web ~ finding new restaurant reviews, discovering what's happening in Roma now.....

I'll get back to this blog after Bella has her romp in the snow.

Capital of the World

Oh my! This is my first blog post. How exciting is this? My thoughts as I plan my upcoming Roma trip will end up on this blog. 

Having recently made a collage' for the memorial of a dear friend who had traveled with me to Roma in Fall of 2010, inspired me to do more with my love obsession with Roma. Irene's husband always referred to Irene, Pauline and I as the "Ciao Girls" ~ thus the name!
